Every Anyon home is built using the
latest proven techniques in building construction and insulation. The high
insulation values provide a warm, comfortable and low cost environment. The
methods used to achieve this are as follows:-
The floors are constructed of
concrete beams with high insulation blocks. Beam and block floors are draught proof and fire resistant.
The external walls are built up of
external facing bricks with a high insulation block on the inner leaf and a
75mm insulation filled cavity.
The roof is constructed using the
“Spatial Roof System” which is an engineered system providing the best use of
the space available. The main roof is lined with 200mm insulation. Velux roof
lights are used to give the maximum natural light which makes the upstairs
rooms light and airy.
The windows are made in compliance
with BS7950 which is the standard for enhanced security in casement windows.
They have a 28mm thick double glazing unit using Pilkingtons ‘K’ glass and 20mm
argon gas filled cavity. The doors are
manufacturer to PAS23/24 which is the standard for casement doors They are kite
marked and accredited and safety glass is used in all appropriate locations.
Our homes are fitted with Pilkington 'K' glass.
The heating and hot water system is
provided by the latest efficient Worcester
gas fired condensing boiler which is 97% efficient. Both hot and cold water
operate at mains pressure. The dwellings are heated using under-floor heating
panels and all rooms are individually controlled with their own room thermostat
which helps to provide the comfort level desired.
This construction provides a new
home which is cocooned in insulation designed to provide not only low running
costs but comfort levels to satisfy the most discerning of home owners.
