Ferns Meadow enjoys a secluded position in the heart of the popular village of North Leverton, which has good local amenities including a Post Office, Doctor's Surgery, Primary School, Public House, a Methodist Chapel and St. Martins Church. The village even boasts a working windmill.

The development is easily found when leaving Retford Market Square along Grove Street turning left at the traffic lights onto Arlington Way, turning right at the next traffic lights onto Spital Hill, continue out of the town towards North Leverton. In the village take the second right hand turn onto Manor Farm Rise, at the top turn left onto Southfield Rise.

The nearby market town of Retford is approximately five miles away and provides an Intercity link to London Kings Cross. Closeby are the market towns of Gainsborough, Newark and Worksop as well as the City of Lincoln. The area is well served by public transport and there is an easy access to the motorway networks, the A1(M) at Markham Moor and M1 at Worksop.
